87 A Giveaway!!!

A few weeks ago we took Katie to Build-A-Bear Workshop to get her High School Musical bear, and I blogged about it when we got home. Well, someone from BABW read that post and was nice enough to send Katie a HANNAH MONTANA bear!! AND she included a $25 Gift Card for me to give away on my blog. How awesome is that!?!?!? So, if you would like to be entered into a drawing for this giftcard then please leave a comment. Maybe you should have to tell me something fun, like the name of your favorite stuffed animal when you were a child (or now if you still like to snuggle). I will print out the names and let Katie choose the winner from her bear carrier.
I did not tell Katie that the bear was on its way because I wanted her to be surprised when she opened the box. She had to wait a little longer than I thought because she had physical therapy yesterday after school (she did great, and her hand and arm seems to be making progress). I did tell her that a package had arrived for her to open. She was so excited to get home and open that package that I could not even tempt her with a trip to WalMart. Now THAT is excitement! I did cheat a bit and open the package when it arrived, but I taped it back up for Katie. I wanted to take the gift card out and see Hannah. She was so excited when she saw the BABW carrier in the box, and then when she opened it and saw the white bear! Oh, she was over the moon!! She had me take the bear's necklace off to put on her, and she of course had to sleep with her!

Can't wait to see if enough people read my blog to make this an actual drawing :)`
Remember, you just have until Wednesday night, the 10th. THANKS!!

Hi Carrie, it's Pam-do I count as a "real" person???
Carter has a Snoopy he calls "Boo Boo". He is pretty sorry looking, I am sure he would love a Build a Bear. ;)

I don't remember any stuffed animals from when I was young...but I do remember three snuggly, huggy babies (who are all now grown)...and five grandchildren who are wonderfully huggy and have the sweetest neck sugar...does that count?

The bear is adorable and the kids are cute too!

Too cute. Too bad Jacob does not like Hanna Montana. HAHA. That was nice of the money grubbers.

Hey, she has even moved her finger more since this pic was taken

I'm not saying I ever had any kind of stuffed animal, baby doll, or snuggly friend because I'm a guy. But if I did it would have been a Cabbage Patch Kid Preemie named Petey. He looked like a little angel, or should I say he would have looked like. He would be dressed in a green/white gingham jumper, have a pinky peach tint to his skin and lull me to sleep with his fresh baby powder scent. I would take him back to where he was born at Baby Land General Hospital in Cleveland, Ga. to shop for some more clothes. But I never had one and I never cried for one at Zayre's either so stop laughing.

okay, ANONYMOUS JB ... I would have thought your favorite stuffed animal would have been a little gray elephant. Possibly named Elephant Annie. Or, if you wanted to be really manly you could have just claimed Mr. Roboto!

Don't talk to anonymous JB like you know who I am. I however got to thinking about little Petey. Where is he now? Does he miss me? Then I pictured Petey lying in a landfill somewhere under 1/2 mile of rotting trash. All but his little plastic head decomposed by now. The Xavier Lewis signature on his butt long faded. PETEY!!!! PETEY, I'M SORRY!!! FORGIVE ME!!

Poor Petey, oh wait did you get Petey, or did your gorgeous sister take him? Can't remember. Man that girl is smart and pretty ... you are one lucky guy to have a sister like that!

Okay, Carrie--favorite stuffed animal/doll would have to be Susan--a doll my mom brought back from France for me because she was there during my birthday one year (actually 2 years in a row, but I'm not bitter or anything). Oh, and "anonymous JB" still talks about visiting Babyland General and how we need to take the girls there (I think he really just wants to go for himself).

Petey's Daddy was given not only Petey in the little green gingham outfit, but Elephant Annie (with the broken trunk)...and MonkMonk. I just hope he's not hiding them from the girls and keeping them all to himself. I'll check the armoires just to be sure Petey didn't hide there and get left behind...although I think I remember seeing Petey wrapped all snuggly in a blanket in his car at one time.

Kyle LOVES Build A Bear! When I was 5 I was hit by a bicycle and injured pretty bad. I was in the hospital for over a week. My neighbor Clyde came to visit and brought me this brown Teddy Bear. His name is Brownie Bear. (I know it's not an exciting name) Brown Bear has been with me ever since! I don't think I will ever be able to let him go!

I snuggle with a furry monkey named Matt does that count?

My favorite doll growing up was Drowsy. Santa brought her when I was 7 months old and I still have her. She's had several "surgeries" to keep her arm and head intact. At one time she talked when you pulled her string but the string has been missing for over twenty years.

Hey I didn't even know you had a blog. How is everyone? Look like the kids are growing fast. Katie's build a bear is cute. Gabby got one last year and later took off it's wig and put it on Jared to take pictures. Tell Chip I said "hi" and Geaux Saints!

My favorite baby as a kid was a doll with a pull string in her back that made her talk when you pulled it. Only...by the time I got her the string was pulled out all the way and wouldn't go back in, thus she never spoke, but her name was Susie and I loved hertgwkg
