Well, at least that was the year that this outfit was first worn. My Mom made this sweet little JohnJohn suit for my oldest brother Vince. Of course back then it did not have those hideous disposable diapers underneath. Why they can't make diapers without cartoon characters all over them is beyond me!!??!! If kids were just running around in diapers I could understand the decorations, but it is a diaper ... which should be concealed under clothing, I am so tired of seeing Elmo's face peeking through any thin material. But, back to the outfit ... I don't have any pictures of Vince in the outfit, but this one is probably made from the same pattern. How adorable was he?!?!?! And I can see some similarities, can't you?
