Technically I have had a blog for years, just not well kept and more scrapbook related. I just never seem to have the time to keep a blog updated. And really nothing too interesting going on.
Well, now we are halfway to really being the Jackson 4 - after way too long as the Jackson 3 :) Chip finally got to feel the baby kicking on Monday. After a long day of walking around the Memphis Zoo in the HEAT I am sure he just wanted to sit and relax. I know I did. He was just happy to be in the air conditioning.
We also just found out that Katie has a super rare form of diabetes called Monogenic Diabetes. What this means for us is that Katie might be able to stop taking shots and to start taking pills (like a type 2 diabetic). There is still more tests to be run, and eventually we will be going to Chicago while she is admitted to the hospital for a week or so while they wean her off her insulin. We are incredibly excited about this of course, but I am a little worried about this changing her eating habits. She is a great eater, but she is used to snacking a lot and I am not sure she will still be able to do that.
And as if that isn't enough change for us ... Katie will be starting Kindergarten in August!! How in the world am I supposed to be able to let her go??? Sure, everyone says I will love it. And everyone points out it will give me more time with the baby. BUT I DON'T WANNA LET GO!!
