Cliche as that sounds, it is true. Hope can be found everywhere! If you open your eyes you can find its signs even in the dirtiest and grittiest of places. I know I have posted a ton of pictures from our walk in downtown Memphis, but over at Shutter Sisters they were asking for pictures of "hope - raw and real" and you can't get much more raw than downtown ANYWHERE! If you can find beauty in the broken down and unused areas then it can be found wherever you may look.
A tree fighting its way from the brick and mortar that surround it to LIVE!
Even with a chain trying to choke its very life, this tree survives and THRIVES! It too has scars.
This bird, building its nest on an inch or two of wood, making the best of its urban situation. Heck, what birds in the woods have a roof over their heads?
Life and Hope will find a way, no matter the circumstances they WILL thrive! Humanity will persevere, and we will find hope.
