...nothing.
The kids have just been doing their best to complete my descent into insanity. I am starting to think a good project would be padding a room. I am just not sure whether it would be for me or them...
Chip and I did get another kid free weekend thanks to my in-laws. Even BETTER, they met me halfway for the drop off and the pick up! It was a dream! We did another night of sushi and a movie. We saw "Arthur", and we loved it. I was afraid it would just be a letdown because I loved the first one, but we really enjoyed it. The sushi was delicious. We tried a couple new rolls. The Nagoya Roll (top) and a Soft-Shell Crab Roll.
The weather has been getting nicer, except when it has gotten worse. Torrential rain, gale force winds. But some days it is gorgeous!
which doesn't stop them from pouting...
I attempted ice dyeing some canvas, but it was way too thick and (mostly) a failure.
And soon I will have blooms in my yard that are not weeds!! I have a few buds on my rosebush, my peony, and the irises! I am most excited about my peony, which was my grandfather's peony. FIVE BUDS so far!
The rose? WalMart special ....
So, see ... you haven't missed a thing! Though my Mom is coming to visit next week!! HOORAY!!

I love that pout!! The weather is getting nice here and the kids are loving it - no boots, heavy coats and getting out there on their bikes. Soon, we'll be seeing the flowers bloom and the trees budding with leaves. Maybe I'll get out there with my camera too :)
